ASBC Beer 23A - Manual Isooctane Extraction and Analysis with Spectrophotometer.
This Test determines Bitterness Units (BU) from Isomerized alpha acids. Results are reported in 0.5 increments, in the range of 1-120. 3 Days Lead time, 200mls Required.
Laboratory services are performed in house at Community Cultures Yeast Lab, using the standards prescribed by the American Society of Brewing Chemists.
All samples can be shipped to our lab Monday through Friday, or dropped by in person Monday through Thursday, 2:00-5:00 pm. Please provide 200 mls per sample, per test, in a sanitized leakproof container. Pricing is per test. Please purchase additional tests for additional samples.
